Tesla Powershare
Installation
in Northern Colorado
What Tesla Powershare Can Do
In a compatible home-backup configuration, Powershare can use energy stored in a Tesla vehicle to support the home during an outage. Tesla currently lists up to approximately 11.5 kW of home-backup power in supported configurations. Depending on the system design and available vehicle energy, that can support ordinary 120V loads as well as many 240V household loads.
Tesla also supports Powershare integration with Powerwall in certain configurations. Vehicle compatibility and required hardware depend on the Tesla vehicle, whether the property already has Powerwall, the existing service equipment and the specific backup design.
